Basic insurance is included with all van hires, covering third-party liability. However, for added peace of mind, we offer optional insurance upgrades that reduce your excess in case of damage. Speak to our team about the best coverage options for you.
Our general van hire insurance terms are:
- The hirer is provided with insurance
- The hirer is liable for the first £500 of any cost for damages
- This can be reduced to £250 with a collision damage waiver
- Hirers under 25 years old are subject an additional excess
Yes, you can add extra drivers to your van hire for a small additional fee. All additional drivers must meet our standard age and licence requirements and provide the necessary documents before being added to the hire agreement.
Yes, we accept flexible payment methods for van hire, but you will still need to provide a security deposit. If you do not have a credit/debit card, please contact us in advance to ensure your payment method meets our requirements.
We accept major credit and debit cards, including Visa and Mastercard. We do accept cash payments as well.
When you arrive at our location, our team will verify your documents, process the payment, and guide you through the vehicle handover. We will also perform a quick inspection of the van with you before you drive away. The whole process takes just a few minutes.
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellation policies may vary depending on the booking type, here are our general terms:
- All cancellations must be sent via email with the subject line ‘Cancellation + Name + Date of hire’
- No refund for remaining days if a hire is terminated early.
- Cancellation will result in a £25 cancellation fee.
- Any cancellation made less than 48 hours from the hire commencing may result in the loss of deposit or hire fees (excluding minibuses and crew vans).
- No charge will be made if the vehicle is cancelled and rebooked before 48 hours of the hire commencing (excluding minibuses and crew vans).
- Please note all minibuses and crew vans are paid for in advance. In case of cancellation, you will only be offered a credit note for any future hires to be used within 12 months of cancellation. 28 days notice of cancellation must be provided or fees may be forfeited.
Yes, we offer a convenient out-of-hours return service. If you need to return your van outside of our business hours, please let us know in advance, and we will provide instructions on where to drop off the keys securely.
